Acoustic analysis and commissioning of the proposed PA systems within the platform, ticket hall and entrance areas within two new London Underground Northern Line stations.
Acoustic analysis of the proposed PA systems within the platform, ticket hall and entrance areas for Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms stations as part of the London Underground Northern Line Extension. Recommendations were made based on constructed 3D acoustic models to control reverberation time within the spaces and to modify the PA speaker layout to achieve the required degree of speech intelligibility. Commissioning measurements were then undertaken prior to project completion in order to verify the system’s speech intelligibility performance.
