Assessments of speech transmission index across new public ticket hall / lift lobby areas of the Heathrow Express stations within the airport's Central Building and Terminal 4.
Three-dimensional room acoustic models of sections of Heathrow Airport’s Central B1 and Terminal 4 G1 areas were constructed in order to ascertain the incoming PA/VA equipment’s performance against the relevant speech intelligibility criteria. Where necessary, guidance on the extent and location of absorptive treatment required to meet the criteria was provided.
