The Brentford Project, Phase 2 Blocks E & J
RIBA Stage 4 design for the construction of residential apartment blocks.
Suono have been heavily involved with The Brentford Project, including for Blocks E and J, assisting Ballymore by undertaking the acoustic design as part of the RIBA Stage 4 package.
Suono provided and reviewed specifications for the internal acoustic design, including sound insulation and absorption treatment so to meet the requirements of Building Regulations Approved Document E. Additionally, noise levels on the site was reviewed to advise on the façade construction and any measures necessary to control overheating. Noise levels from mechanical services plant internally within apartments and externally to nearby receptors as required for planning was also undertaken.
